Honours

Honours (4th Year) research programs in Neuroscience are offered in a number of departments of The University of Melbourne, including the Centre for Neuroscience, Anatomy & Cell Biology, Pathology, Pharmacology and Physiology through the Faculty of Science. Opportunities also exist for research components of this degree to be undertaken within Institutes affiliated with The University of Melbourne. Students undertaking an Honours project through the Centre for Neuroscience are in general required to participate in the Honours coursework program within the Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology. Depending on the project undertaken, it may be more appropriate to join the coursework program within one of the other participating University of Melbourne Departments. Final marks are dependent upon the research project report, oral presentations and coursework participation.
